Garage sale minus the garage?

I live in a condo, so I don't have a garage, or a private yard. I'm moving soon and I have boxes and boxes full of things I'd like to sell. I've tried eBay, but that takes too long, and I have to pay to list and ship just as much as the item costs. I really want to have a 'garage sale' but seeing as I don't have a garage or yard, what are my other options? Don't say use a friend's yard, I've tried. 10 points to the best answer that I choose.

Some areas have flea-markets. Check your local paper or ask around to see if that exists. The only other option I can think of is right in your condo. Make one room with all the stuff you would want to sell, blocking off all the other rooms. You may need to put flyers up or a small ad in the paper before the yard sale date. You can sell some big stuff (if you're selling) like furniture. Hope this helps.

My mom moved out her apartment complex about a year ago and was it a similar situation. What we did was bring all of the stuff to a little area close to the pool. It kind of hard to describe but there was a small parking lot and grass area so we just brought out a card table and started setting things up. We made sure it was ok with the people in the leasing office first of course. We set up "yard sale" signs near the entrance and people could also see us as they were walking to the pool so it worked out great. Good luck!

See if your complex management will allow a group yard sale. Anyone from the complex can set up in a particular spot. I have seen this done. It can become a yearly event.

Check in your area and see if there is a flea market usually held on Saturdays you rent a space but you have lots of people coming through so it is worth it

could you use your space where you park your car? or maybe if there is a lawn, you could use? it would be hard to move all the stuff to like a parking lot somewhere but that is one idea. like at a shopping center? or grocery store?
