Question:
How do I get removed from catalog mailings?

We are moving out of the country next year and will be having our mail forwarded to my parents. I want them to get the least about of mail possible and I don't want them getting junk. So I thought I'd start requesting to be removed from mailing lists now. Any suggestions?

If the catalog number is available. This helps.

If you are concerned about junk mail this really works! -- Put the mailing back into the reply envelope. On the form you fill out just put that you need removed from their list.

You can also do a return to sender on unopened envelopes and write above your address to remove from their mailing list.

Usually "junk" mail isn't forwarded. However, to be sure, just contact the mail order house and asked to be removed. Most have websites to contact.
