Hey guys,
I saw this *** bug in my kitchen and I suspect it's a bed bug. Since I have never seen a bed bug, I thought I could post its picture here to find out if it really is one. Here is the pic: http://i49.tinypic.com/wat07a.png
So is it a bed bug? (please say NO)
Btw I don't have any bites.

it's not a bed bug, nor is it a German roach...it's a nymph of the American roach which is mainly an outside roach species...if you start seeing lots of the "nymphs" I would worry of a possible moisture water issue to address in or under the home

Now not definite if these are bed bugs or mites but that you could safeguard your self when slumbering with the aid of utilising a mattress protector as mentioned in an earlier reply. They're as an alternative low-cost they usually do work. It's difficult to inform when you consider that there is not any different object in the images to evaluate their size to. Of direction you did use a magnifying glass which means they could also be mites. If that's the case, they're much cheaper and less complicated to get rid of! The bed bugs are much bigger and less complicated to see. They actually feed off your blood! You will want a more costly fumigation system or a extra highly-priced full mattress encasement to eliminate them. The mites however will feed off of your lifeless epidermis cells! They will make you itch and so they could intent allergy symptoms as you breath within the dead mites. The mattress protection for the mites are less cash. They are microscopic and really difficult to peer with the bare eye. Take a look on the Wiki hyperlinks i have placed to view both the bed bug and the mite. The encasement mentioned in an earlier reply will get rid of both of them and the mattress covers will just maintain the mites. The only thing about this is - you don't have any sores or bite marks which is special! Before investing in something at all - verify your mattress on top very well, take a very good vacuuming to your mattress and under your bed. Maybe some thing they are, they may simply be feeding on the guide! (paper) when you consider that that is the place you found them.

No, that is not a bed bug. Bed bugs are much, much smaller than that. It's a normal cockroach, if It was a bed bug, it'd be hard to spot.
