It’s 5AM and I just found a huge brown spider on my window, and I’m extremely afraid of them. I have to wait until the afternoon (12pm ish, when I wake up) to ask someone to kill it. Is it possible for it to stay in the same spot until then?

It isn't like they are on a schedule. A spider could sit in one location for hours if they feel safe and aren't too hot or cold or wet. They often wait for a very long time waiting for prey. They could just as easily scamper away within seconds.

Not much of a description . . . "huge"??  is that 1/4 inch or 2 inches???  If it's really big, could be a Wolf spider:  they sit in wait of prey for hours - or days.  Not venomous - but you don't want to be bitten by any spider.
