i its too hot and i dont want the kids opening the windows fully in case they full out of them anyone got any idea what i can use to stop the window from being fully open

I have opening restrictors fitted on my double glazing.



If you have standard windows then you could just fit a door chain to them. Make sure they can be opened fully if necessary - eg as a fire escape.

Yes, pop into a local DIY store or google for it



Not 100% what they are called but googling windows and child locks should point you in the right direction

If you wantt o do just a quick fix do what my parenta did when I used to sneak out and just put a nail in each window track where you want the window to stop. Then if you want you could just take them out.

You can place a locking system on the window that you can control how far it opens...go to Lowe's or Home Depot and ask.

There are numerous devices on the market to stop windows being fully opened, instead of posting on here do your own research and find them

DIY shop - there is a thing (not sure of its name) that you can use to restrict the openiing space.



I threatened mine with the loss of the playstation, wii and everything else if he goes near them! Thus far,, he has listened!
