the common sense answer is they are the same but put them in a vacuum the feathers will weigh more because they will displace more air this helps the feathers to float a little in air with the air gone they will sink more then the dense rock

to lift the rocks because the density of the pound. the feathers take up a greater amount of area thus would feel lighter. example my hot tub weighs three hundred pounds and i can lift and move it myself. i cant lift six bags of thinset at the same time which is 300 pounds.
