That depends on what specifically you want to know. Most gas suppliers will check your house for Carbom Monoxide (CO) if you suspect something, they also check for gas leaks and they will inspect your appliance's vent and chimney. They will check the hot water heater, furnace and gas stove for you. If you want to monitor CO, buy a good CO detector ($50) that is UL2034 listed and has a digital display. If you want to know the relative humidity, then you need to purchase a hygrometer. Those are the do it yourself air quality tests.
