We are moving into a new house fitting the above description and wonder what we can expect our utility bill to cost monthly. We will be paying for all electric, no gas. Thanks.

You should contact your provider. Most companies would be able to give you a good estimate based on your current usage and your new houses usage.

1700 sq ft here.... older home... new windows... good insulation in attic... second story bedroom suite....NOT on city water, sewage, etc.... power runs 120 - 250.... we have gas furnace... elect hot water.... elc dryer..... your summer air should be about equal with the winter heat, so allow at least 300 mo for power... and that's if you're good at conserving.... if not, then add another 100....

If you have to ask, you can't afford it!
