rather than boric acid, use Roach bait that is in a gel form, comes in a large syringe, more effective and you can place it where you need it. Can also place the bait on a small square of cardboard and slide under the microwave and get results.

Throw out the microwave, there's probably old rotting food stuck in the cracks and parts of it that is attracting the roaches. Clean the area around it well and set bug traps around where the microwave was. If the roaches continue to show up after that, call an exterminator.

Yikes. They are probably in your microwave because of left over food particles or just oil. You know they can live off the oil from your finger print for a whole week!

Good news is that they are easy to get rid of with the right bait. Professional baits are highly effective because the residual products will kill off the other roaches that eat the dead cockroaches. Yes, cockroaches will eat other dead roaches. Yuk, I know.

Honestly you don't even have to get rid of your microwave.

The only problem you will have once they are gone is keeping new roaches from coming back in. If you live in an apartment then you are really going to have a hard time with keeping them out. Go with cy-kick to keep them from coming back.

You can buy all this stuff on line.
